A happy morning to all of our friends!

Wow! What a wonderful turn out it was for our playgroup this past Tuesday. A little over 18 families, some of whom are new, joined us for their first time & of course our recurring families came over to have some summer fun too!

Our playgroup started off with a casual yet sweet & simple circle time music with Sato & her precious A! Many families including our little friends loved moving and singing along with the tunes. Thanks so much Sato for sharing your time to do a fun circle time with us!

After circle time, Bex was so thoughtful to bring in a book to share for our littles. She read “Yoga Babies” by Fearne Cotton, a book about yoga babies having fun trying out different types of poses. It’s also a book to remind us that even though life get’s busy, there are always a way to do yoga, whether at home, outside or even before bed time. Thank you, Bex, for an enjoyable story time!

Then Bex followed up with some simple yoga poses that all the parent(s) and kids joined in to. The littles were in tune with their “oohms” and truly tried to meditate. Many new moms & some expectant moms appreciated the simple poses that they were able to do. Overall it was widely received by many & so we thank you Bex for sharing your time & talent with all of us this past Tuesday. We hope you get to come back again real soon and do more stretches/movements with us.

Thank you to all of our parent volunteers that puts in their time & energy into helping set up in the morning and afterwards. You..yes you, is the reason why our playgroup is open & running. For expectant moms, feel free to invite anyone you know who might also be expecting. This playgroup is filled with a plethora of information & there might just be an answer/tip or a friend that you’ve been looking for here.

Next week will be the last Tuesday for our Summer term before we head on and welcome our Fall term starting in September. So we will follow another easy morning with circle time, story time & free play afterwards. Big kids are welcome to join us.

We are always looking for volunteers so if you feel like there’s something you can offer, please reach out to us via our email address & we would be happy to show you what we’ve got. We have all kinds of jobs to suit all sorts of skills.
