October 23, 2018
On this rainy Tuesday morning we welcomed 14 families and several older siblings for a wonderfully diverse playgroup of 18 kiddos aged 0-5. Parents helped unpack the new equipment made possible by accumulated member donations since August and made good use of the increased carpets, tables cloths and high chairs. Parent volunteer, Ms Sato, led a Halloween themed circle time, and parent volunteer organizer, Ms Katie, reviewed some co-op admin regarding the calendar and budget. Ms Karina, who volunteered for the first time, confirmed receipts and reimbursements for the fall. Thanks to parent volunteer members Ms Christine who had gone shopping to restock the coffee and Ms Pree who sorted the treats for the Halloween playgroup next week. A delicious lunch was catered by La Petite Fourche.
“Many hands make light work.” Thanks for pitching in at our meetings!
