August 28, 2018
Our final playgroup of August brought nearly 25 families and 40 children together! Children’s ages ranged from 0-7 years old- with the majority of them either 2 or 4 years old. Ms Katie, the incoming organizer, read a late summer themed story, “Goldfish on Vacation” by Sally Lloyd Jones for story time. We made “fish bowls” for arts and crafts. Materials were provided and interested participants could choose what they liked and craft as a family- or not! Some kids just played with blocks or built train tracks which is fine for us. We’re flexible! It seems we weren’t able to connect many homeschooling families, but we were grateful for those who did make the trek to visit and we would welcome them back anytime. Lunch was made to order by La Petite Fourche.
